During the meeting, the sides discussed the further development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Swiss National Bank.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed high appreciation for the technical support provided by Swiss experts to the National Bank of Kazakhstan in areas such as risk management and payment systems.
In turn, Martin Schlegel stated his intention to establish a structured dialogue and enhance cooperation between the national banks of Kazakhstan and Switzerland in the areas of monetary policy and digital finance.
The sides also discussed strengthening the foreign exchange market, measures to increase confidence in national currencies, and the development of digital assets.
