President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is on an official visit to China, together with Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang participated in the inauguration ceremony of the first launch complex for the production of wind energy components in Zhambyl region via videoconference, El.kz reports.

The project is the result of successful cooperation between Samruk-Kazyna JSC and SANY Renewable Energy, the world’s largest manufacturer of wind power equipment.

The production facility is located in Silk Road special economic zone in the city of Shu. The project’s implementation will make a significant contribution to the development of the country’s green energy sector.
