Harbin elected to host Asian Winter Games in 2025

The next Asian Winter Games will be held from February 7 to March 14, 2025 in Harbin, China, El.kz reports citing Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
At the same time, the Olympic Council of Asia approved the mascot, emblem and slogan of the Games, which sounds like "Dreams of Winter, Love among Asia".
It should be noted that Harbin has already hosted the Winter Asian Games in 1996. At those Games, the national team of Kazakhstan won 14 gold, 9 silver, 8 bronze medals, which allowed it to take second place in the overall standings - after the Chinese team.
