Google and Microsoft interested in cooperation with Kazakh companies - Minister of National Economy
At a briefing held within the framework of the Astana International Forum, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov announced the interest of large companies such as Google and Microsoft in expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan.
Representatives of these corporations are present at the forum to assess the country's potential on the ground, El.kz reports.
The minister noted that representatives of Google and Microsoft are holding meetings with the industry ministry and Bagdat Musin to assess market opportunities. They are interested in the development of production, mechanical engineering, IT industry and infrastructure. Kuantyrov noted the growth of the IT sector in Kazakhstan and confidence in close cooperation with these companies, given their widespread use of Google and Microsoft products in the country.
In addition, the Minister stressed the importance of the International Forum for Kazakhstan. He noted its role in strengthening international relations and creating a bridge between East and West. The forum contributes to improving the investment climate, attracting foreign investment and developing the country's tourism potential.
The forum has already hosted ten substantive and four extracurricular sessions, which covered various topics, including the role of the UN in ensuring peace and security, the development of renewable energy sources, the carbon market, Central Asian cooperation, global health, peacetime, conflicts and world order.
