Four future police service dogs have arrived at the Canine Service Centre in Astana. The two-month-old puppies are already undergoing their initial assessments, El.kz reports citing the Akimat of Astana.

The puppies’ mother, Chloe Deya, is a Belgian Shepherd trained to search for missing persons. Their father, Baks, specializes in narcotics detection and has repeatedly assisted police officers in the course of his service.

The main assessment will be conducted when they reach six months of age. Based on the results, an appropriate area of specialization will be selected for each dog.

For now, the puppies remain under the supervision of specialists as they adapt to their new environment and spend time playing. In the future, they will undergo regular training and serve in the units of the capital’s police force.
