The French Alps are set to host the 26 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This decision was taken by the IOC Members today during the 142nd IOS Session Paris, El.kz reports.

IOC President Thomas Bach said that the 2030 Olympic Games will be held in the French Alps, subject to the fulfillment of all IOC requirements.

"French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as all interested parties, confirmed their readiness to host the 2023 Olympics. We are fully confident that France will organize an outstanding Olympic Games with the same creativity, imagination and style that we are now seeing in Paris," said IOC President Thomas Bach.
