Forum "Techno Women Central Asia" held in Almaty
In Almaty Management University, the second forum "Techno Women Central Asia: Ozine Sen!" was held, dedicated to the discussion of the most pressing issues of women's entrepreneurship in the field of IT, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the university.
The forum was attended by famous women from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
One of the key events of the forum was a closed round table of members of the public association with universities on the topic "Universities and technological business: practices of effective interaction".
According to Aziza Shuzheeva, President of the Techno Women Association, the purpose of the forum is to show women in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries the ways of development in the field of IT, the importance of adaptability and flexibility in the modern world.
Today, we all listened with interest to the speeches of experts, were inspired by the success stories of young entrepreneurs and learned how many ideas can be generated by women who need only a little help to bring their plans to life.
«However, for a wider coverage of women, in order to achieve truly profound changes in their thinking, it is very important for us to cultivate self-confidence in girls, their abilities, it is necessary to arm them with modern knowledge about IT technologies. In this sense, cooperation with the leading universities of our country is certainly extremely important. Given that we are all doing a common cause, it is also important to be able to discuss all these issues," she says.
