Foreign Minister of Moldova familiarized with Kazakhstan President’s State of Nation Address
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova Almat Aidarbekov met with Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mihail Popsoi, El.kz cites MFA.
The Kazakh diplomat briefed the Head of Moldovan diplomacy on the key provisions of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State of the Nation Address “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Social Optimism”. Ambassador paid special attention to the tasks set by the Head of State for further sustainable socio-economic development and improvement of the welfare of citizens.
Ambassador Aidarbekov stressed the importance of the upcoming referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant in our country on October 6 this year, which is intended to become another demonstration of a broad national dialogue and an example of the implementation of the “Listening State” concept.
In addition, during the meeting, the sides discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as cooperation within multilateral structures.
In his turn, Minister Popsoi noted the high level of bilateral relations and Chisinau’s commitment to their further development. In this context, he stressed the importance of opening an embassy of Moldova in Astana, which will serve to strengthen ties with Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia in general.
