Flow of foreign tourists increased by 73% in Almaty

In the first half of the year, there was a significant increase in the number of foreign tourists in Almaty - an increase of 73%.

During the period from January to June, more than 261 thousand foreign guests visited the city. Domestic tourism is also actively developing, with an increase in the number of Kazakh tourists by 14%, reaching 710 thousand people, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akim of Almaty.

To improve the rest of tourists, camping zones have been created on popular routes, such as "Ak Bulak", BAO and "Mynzhylky".

Past works on the improvement of valleys, such as Maloye, Bolshoye Almatinskoye, Prokhodnoye, Butakovka, and ongoing work in the Kargalinsky Alley , include the installation of navigation signs, stands, color markings, gazebos (including glazed ones), rest platforms, bridges and other amenities.

The total number of tourists in Almaty reached 972,157 people, which is 25.5% more than in the previous year.
