Deputy PM of Kazakhstan and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva announced the start of film competition using AI, El.kz reports.

“In accordance with the instruction of the Head of State to create high-quality films with strong moral and ethical content, the annual film project competition has started. This year, a wide range of areas is proposed: native land, family, healthy lifestyle, national values, labor, law and order, nature, space, tourism, and other relevant topics,” she said.

According to Balaeva, one of the key innovations is the use of AI technologies during the selection process. This will help to increase transparency and ensure greater objectivity in decision-making.

Under the rules, only scripts and script outlines are accepted at the first stage. At the second stage, the completeness and compliance of the submitted documentation package are reviewed. The next stage will be held in the format of an online broadcast.

“I would like to note that as a result of competitions conducted on the principles of openness and fairness, 70% of projects that receive state support are works by young directors. I wish success to authors who create films with inspiring and deep meaning,” Aida Balayeva emphasized.
