Three suspects in the theft of agricultural subsidies worth 500 million tenge were arrested in Kostanay, the Financial Monitoring Agency reported.
"The criminal scheme consisted in the "surrender" of non-existent products by peasant farms to a processing plant. The members of the organized criminal group divided the subsidies among themselves," the report said.
