Exhibition of Turkic jewelry opened in Astana
The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation hosted an exhibition on the theme “Jewelry of Turkic women", dedicated to the International Women's Day on March 8.
The organizers of the exhibition are the N. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilizational Dialogue together with the Union of Artists of Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition is aimed at familiarizing visitors with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Eurasia, strengthening intercultural interaction, promoting the initiatives of the Congress of Leaders and World and Traditional Religions.
The Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kydyrali congratulated women on the upcoming holiday.
"The Turkic people especially valued women. They respected and cherished them as givers of life and guardians of traditions. The beauty and grace of souls served as the basis for the development of literature, crafts and jewelry culture," Darkhan Kydyrali said.
In turn, The Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev stressed that all Turkic people are connected by historical origins.
