Ethnic Fashion Week held in Astana
With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a fashion event was held - Bozjyra Fashion Week Astana 2024. This is the only fashion week in Kazakhstan dedicated to ethnic fashion in a modern interpretation, the revival of the culture of the peoples of the Turkic world.
The topic of the week of 2024 was Aru Sultana, a representative of the highest Kazakh aristocracy of the XVI century, who conquered London, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
Designers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Georgia took part in the Week of Ethnic Fashion.
According to the organizers, Bozjyra Fashion Week is an association of designers of the Turkic world, which in the future can create a whole community that influences ethnic fashion in the world.
