Embassy of Kazakhstan received award from Korea customs service
More than 70 diplomats from various embassies, including 31 heads of foreign diplomatic missions, took part in an event celebrating International Customs Day in the capital of South Korea, El.kz cites MFA.
During the event, the Commissioner of the Customs Service of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Taesik, congratulated all the participants on the International Customs Day and noted the importance of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between customs services of foreign countries.
In conclusion, the head of the Korean Customs Service presented an award to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for active cooperation and outstanding contribution to the development of bilateral relations in the field of customs services.
According to statistics from the South Korean side, trade turnover between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2022 amounted to 6.5 billion U.S. dollars, which is a record in the history of trade relations between the two countries.
