Former Wimbledon women's singles champion Elena Rybakina has reached the third round of the Australian Open 2025, El.kz reports with reference to Sports.kz.
The 2022 Wimbledon champion, who was a beaten finalist at Melbourne Park in 2023 and was knocked out in the second round last year, needed just 80 minutes to seal a 6-0 6-3 win over 17-year-old Jovic.
Her victory teed up a third-round tie against Dayana Yastremska who defeated Danka Kovinic 6-0 6-1.
