ELENA KIM: WE'RE ALL DIFFERENT. BUT WE ARE ALL UNITED BY ONE COMMON HOME – KAZAKHSTAN

Every year we look forward to the session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. I can say that the warm atmosphere and relations at the session are impressive. We are a united people of Kazakhstan, all of us are Kazakhstanis.

Kazakhstan has become our homeland for historical reasons, and our people live in peace and accord. Each of us is grateful to the Kazakh land, which under its own shanyrak united all of us. I would like to note that each ethnos has an opportunity to study its traditions, native language and culture. During the years of deportation, Kazakhs showed hospitality and received our elders – that means a lot

After the session, we always return home inspired and energetic to continue our work in the region. Our goals are very different, each time we come here, we learn, develop, have the opportunity to create together, to help our Kazakhstan prosper.

We often exchange experiences with other regions. We held a contest called "Family Longevity". Families who have lived together for more than 50 years took part in the contest. The old people told their love story and gave advice to young families on how to save their families. These are the activities we hold to strengthen family values.
