EAEU citizens can stay in Kazakhstan for 90 days without registration
According to the Committee of the Migration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the national legislation of Kazakhstan and the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, citizens of the EAEU member states can stay in the territories of the parties for 90 days, without being temporarily registered, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Committee.
In case of staying beyond the established period, it is necessary to issue a temporary residence permit (TRP) in advance of its expiration in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for one of the following purposes: family reunification, work, study, treatment, missionary work, business immigrants.
The notification of the arrival of a foreigner sent by the receiving persons is not a document allowing the temporary residence of a foreigner in Kazakhstan, but is only of a notification nature, the Committee explained. "On the issues of registration of temporary residence permits, receiving individuals or legal entities can contact the Public Service Centers at the place of residence."
