Drug distribution channels eliminated in West Kazakhstan

The Prosecutor's Office of the West Kazakhstan region held a meeting of the Coordinating Council for Combating Crime and Drugs on October 29, El.kz reports.

On December 1, under the coordination of the regional prosecutor's office, a drug laboratory in the Almaty region was eliminated . During the operation, equipment and a large amount of drugs intended for distribution were seized.

On November 23, persons who arrived from the Kostanay region for the purpose of selling drugs were detained.

Since the meeting, more than 50 pre-trial investigations have been registered and 4 phytolaboratories have been identified.

Work to suppress drug trafficking continues and is under strict daily control of law enforcement agencies.
