Dimash Kudaibergen to perform with Kazakh kobyz player in Hungary and Turkey

Kazakh kobyz player Olzhas Kurmanbek will perform together with Dimash Kudaibergen in Hungary and Turkey,El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Olzhas Kurmanbek is a professional kobyz player who conquers foreign scenes and the hearts of social media users. The musician has been playing the traditional Kazakh instrument for 20 years .

Since 2017, Olzhas has been performing on the big stage together with the world-famous singer Dimash Kudaibergen. And the interest in his activities as a kobyz player came when he began to post videos on social networks with the performance of soundtracks from foreign films.

His repertoire includes two songs written together with Russian producer Igor Krutoy and Dimash, as well as works by composer Renat Gaisin. In May of this year, as part of the "Stranger" concert tour, Olzhas will perform with Dimash in Hungary and Turkey. 

"At almost every concert during a foreign tour, the audience comes up, is interested in an unusual instrument for them, admires the sound of the kobyz. Therefore, I want to glorify our Kazakh musical instrument all over the world," the musician shares his thoughts.
