Drones, anti-drone complexes and virtual polygons - these systems and technologies were presented at the international forum Digital Almaty-2023 "Digital Partnership in the New Reality", El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan

One of the expositions of the exhibition is devoted to the digitalization of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. It is represented by an information system for automated accounting of mobilization resources. The software is developed as part of the digital transformation of local military authorities and has already been implemented in departments, offices and divisions of defense affairs throughout the country. Already today, it allows military enlistment offices to accumulate information about citizens liable for military service from various state bodies.

Using modern digital technologies, on the basis of a person's IIN, interested bodies can "in a few clicks" determine the place of residence of a citizen, the degree of fitness for military service, health status, marital status and much more.

The exhibition also presented high-tech domestic developments in the military sphere. Qazdron demonstrated a radio-controlled UAV, Tactical Tech - a simulator of tactical combat operations in virtual reality, Kaztechinnovations - anti-drone systems.

The Deputy Minister of Defense noted that in five years, the Digital Almaty-2023 forum has become the most popular platform that gathers transnational and IT companies, government agencies and authoritative international experts in the field of digitalization under its wing. In addition, the event provides an opportunity for all players in the digital industry to establish mutually beneficial cooperation.

Within the framework of the forum, a panel session was also organized on the digitalization of the Armed Forces. Reports were made by the Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Engineering NC JSC Timirzhan Abdrakhmanov, the representative of the military-industrial complex of Turkey Ziya Yusuf Chamoglu, the Israeli company Elbit Systems C4I & Cyber Amir Zeldner and the regional director for Central Asia of the French company Thales Group Martin Rivet de Sabatie.

The forum participants agreed that such events contribute to the intensification of contacts, scientific exchange in the field of IT-technologies, increase opportunities in ensuring the military security of the country.
