Development of Institute of ethnomediation discussed in Astana

Today, with the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an expanded meeting of the Republican Council of Ethnomediation of the APK was held with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Head of the Secretariat of the APK Marat Azilkhanov,El.kz reports with citing the press service of the department.

The meeting was actively attended by representatives of central state bodies, public structures of the APK, ethnomediators and experts in the interethnic sphere from all regions of Kazakhstan.

The main issue of the Council was the discussion of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State given at the XXXIII session of the APKs on the development of the institution of ethnomediation and at the III National Kurultai on the promotion of national values.

Marat Azilkhanov noted the importance of the effective development of the institution of ethnomediation.

Thematic discussion platforms were held for experts, developers and implementers of training programs, representatives of regional ethnomediation centers to discuss topical issues of the development of the institution of ethnomediation, including at the regional level.

Also, the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting on improving the work of the Houses of Friendship.
