Croatia interested in increasing volume of Kazakh oil exports
In Astana, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Croatia to Kazakhstan Refik Šabanović, El.kz news agency reports.
The parties highly appreciated the level of mutually beneficial partnership and expressed readiness to further expand bilateral cooperation in such areas as energy, engineering, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, IT technologies, tourism and sports.
- Both countries have great potential to increase trade. Kazakhstan is always open for mutually beneficial cooperation with its economic partners, said the head of the Ministry of National Economy, co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission from the Kazakh side A. Kuantyrov.
In turn, Mr. Šabanović noted that Croatia is interested in increasing the volume of Kazakh oil exports to Eastern Europe through the Croatian Adria oil pipeline, as well as in establishing direct flights between Kazakhstan and Croatia.Following the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to intensify cooperation in all important areas.
