CREATIVE YOUTH OF KAZAKHSTAN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS MET IN KORGALZHYN
National Delphic Committee in partnership with the Fund of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan and APK’s Association of Entrepreneurs held a series of events to present a unique program of work with creative youth with special needs (with hearing loss) in Korgalzhyn, Akmola region.
A round table on the issues of creative youth with special needs was organized within the presentation, master courses on the culture of gesture speech, choreography and acting were held as well. Participants of these master classes were creative young people with hearing loss aged 12-25 years from Kyzylorda, Aktobe, North Kazakhstan, Akmola regions and Astana. Author's master courses, unique practices and methods of work with creative youth with special needs were developed by the jury of the National Delphic Committee, including artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Deputies of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yuri Timoschenko and Zhambyl Akhmetbekov, Chairman of Delphic Games Committee Kuralay Tusspekova and others took part in the discussion.
One of the main objectives of the program is to create the necessary conditions for the development of talented young people with special needs, assistance in the implementation of their dreams to believe in themselves. These young people need more attention and support, which is why they should be given special attention in the national youth strategy, organizers of the large-scale event noted.
