CONTEST FOR ‘KULTEGIN’ POEM’S KNOWLEDGE HELD IN KARAGANDA
A scientific and creative competition "Turkic world: the poem of Kultegin - the Great Steppe" was held in the House of Friendship in Karaganda within the framework of the cultural and educational project "Qazaqtanu" of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
The event divided into three stages was opened with the poem "Kultegin" performed by Alibek Bimendin.
"The main idea of the ancient Turkic poem is to call for unity, unity of the Turkic people, and observance of ancient customs," said Aitbay Zhumagul, philologist, akyn and moderator of the event.
Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, laureate of the Kultegin Prize Satay Syzdykov in his report "Honorary heritage of the idea "Мangilik El" noted that the poetic image of Batyr Kultegin in the ancient Turkic epic is idealized and depicted as an invincible warrior.
In turn, doctoral student of Istanbul University Mimar Sinan Zhantegin Karzhaubay told about the heroic exploits of a warrior.
Teacher of KSU Zhandos Smagulov made a report on the national heritage, giving examples from the traditions of the Kazakh people.
After that young scientists defended their works before the jury. The event continued with a competition of readers and performers on musical instruments of works "Small inscription in honor of Kultegin" with the participation of representatives of other nationalities in the state language.
All the participants were able to reveal their oratory skills and professionalism. Nurai Gaziz, Elizaveta Sedysheva and Alibek Bimendin were named the best by the jury.
