Construction of longest road bridge in Kazakhstan
The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan demonstrated the current stage of construction of the country's longest bridge over the Bukhtarma reservoir. The work at the facility was inspected by the minister of transport Marat Karabayev during his working trip to the regions, El.kz reports.
A two-lane motorway bridge is being built on the section of a minimum width of an artificial reservoir near the village of Kuigan.
This construction is of strategic importance for the region, as its successful completion will significantly improve the transport infrastructure of the East Kazakhstan and Abay regions.
The total length of bridge including approaches is about 20 km. To date, work has been completed on the construction of 18 out of 21 supports of the main bridge, the construction of structures on the remaining three supports continues.
The facility is equipped with a berth and temporary construction sites for the manufacture of components, engineering networks are connected. The construction of the bridge is being carried out from two the left and right banks, which makes it possible to speed up the process.
The construction of a temporary technological bridge has been fully completed, which provides the necessary conditions for further work. All the necessary materials for subsequent construction and installation work have already been prepared. A two-shift mode of operation is organized at the site, more than 200 people are involved.
The project for the construction of a bridge across the Bukhtarma reservoir is progressing according to plan and promises to become an important element of the transport network of Kazakhstan.
