Companies from Russia and Nigeria increased in Kazakhstan
Companies from the Russian Federation are leading in doing a business in Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to Halyk Finance.
For five months of 2023, 2362 companies (+ 12.5%) with capital from the Russian Federation were registered in Kazakhstan.
The number of companies from neighboring countries, where business from the Russian Federation also migrates, also increased rapidly:
the number of enterprises from Belarus increased by 12.6%, Georgia (+11.5%), Moldova (+10.9%), Uzbekistan (+9.4%), which suggests that some companies from these countries are also represented by Russian business.
Interest in Kazakhstan is also shown by foreign countries:
the number of enterprises from Nigeria increased by 37.4%, and from Mongolia by 35.7%.
Business from Nigeria is focused on education and services,
from Mongolia to provide office, administrative and related services.
Thus, the consequences of the impact of sanctions on the Russian economy and the problems associated with them stimulate the influx of small firms from the Russian Federation. It can be expected that the rebellion that took place last weekend in the Russian Federation can only strengthen this process, Halyk Finance reports .
