On August 12, 2024, the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris took place, El.kz reports.
Gymnast Elzhana Tanieva and taekwondo athlete Batyrkhan Toleugali carried the Flag of Kazakhstan at the solemn event.

According to the results of the Olympics, our country won seven medals.
Kazakh judoka Eldos Smetov won the "gold" of the Olympics in Paris.
"Silver" was received by Nariman Kurbanov in artistic gymnastics, Demeu Zhadrayev in Greco-Roman wrestling and Nurbek Oralbay in boxing.
Bronze medals for our team were won by Alexandra Le and Islam Satpayev in air rifle shooting, Gusman Kyrgyzbayev in judo and Nazym Kyzaybay in boxing.
