Children's safety discussed with parents of capital's schoolchildren

n the Nura district of the capital, a meeting was held with the parents of students on the topic "Safe Environment", dedicated to the organization of the educational process and the safety of children. Such events will be held until the end of this year, El.kz reports citing the official website of the Astana Akimat.

The event was held as part of the execution of the instructions of the Head of State to ensure the rights and protection of children. The meeting was attended by Deputy Akim of Nura District Aliya Absemetova, Deputy District Prosecutor Bauyrzhan Askarov, Deputy Department of Education of Astana Serik Adylbayev, as well as parents of school students.

"Today, about 80,000 children are studying in the Nura district. In total, we have 8 public, 12 private schools and 2 BINOM schools. Thanks to the close cooperation of district structures, active work is being carried out to identify children in families with difficult life situations. Thus, for the period from November 2023 to February 2024, 5 similar families were identified in the district. According to the needs of these families, maximum support is provided for the issuance of food baskets, the provision of medical support," said Aliya Absemetova, deputy akim of the Nura district.

During the meeting, the participants discussed such important topics as the social situation in the family, the prevention of suicide and juvenile delinquency. Particular attention was paid to the expansion of schools and the development of kindergartens.

"It is planned to open 80 schools by the end of 2029 and 50-60 kindergartens by 2027. As for sports complexes, 5 facilities have recently been commissioned," said Serik Adylbayev, Deputy Head of the Astana Department of Education.

At the end of the meeting, the participants asked questions and shared their recommendations.
