Chief Medical Officer urges Nur-Sultan residents not to visit mass gathering places
Chief Sanitary Officer of Nur-Sultan Sarkhat Beissenova called the resident and guests of the city to avoid of mass gathering places, El.kz correspondent reports.
"Dear guests and residents of the capital! I urge everyone not to visit crowded places without extreme necessity. You can see that the virus does not regress, the infection rate is rising again. Limit the circle of persons with whom you are in contact," Sarhat Beisenova said during an online briefing.
She added that in case the city enters the ‘yellow’ zone, the measures will focus on the localization of the infection source.
"Vaccination and revaccination are still the only protection against infection. Therefore, we can resist the growth of the incidence only by passing vaccination and revaccination. Dear citizens, do not risk your health, the health of your loved ones! Get vaccinated against the coronavirus! And also, despite the presence of the capital in the "green" zone, according to the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is recommended to wear masks in closed institutions and in public transport. Take care of yourself!" added Sarhat Beisenova.
