Center for special social services opens in Atyrau region
This year, a center for the provision of special social services No. 2 will be put into operation in the Zhylyoi region, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of the Atyrau region.
After the completion of the construction of the facility, 150 patients with psychoneurological disorders will be under the supervision of doctors in the center. This was announced by the head of the regional department for the coordination of employment and social programs Azamat Mambetov, the Regional Communications Service reports.
As you know, the only center for people with psychoneurological disorders, located in the Makhambet district, cannot accept all patients due to lack of places. At the moment, 150 people in the region do not have the opportunity to receive appropriate treatment.
“Taking into account these circumstances, we planned to repair the old hospital building in the Zhylyoi district and open a second center. By order of the regional construction department in 2021, the reconstruction of the building began. It is expected that all the work within the framework of the project will be completed, and the building will be put into operation in June-July," Azamat Mambetov said.
