Bus production increased by 2.5 times in Kazakhstan

In January-August 2023, 1711 units of vehicles were produced to transport ten or more people, while in the corresponding period of 2022, 1033 units less were produced. Production increased by 2.5 times compared to January-August last year, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPR of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, for 8 months of this year, the production of passenger cars increased by 41.5%. So, if Kazakhstani enterprises produced more than 88.5 thousand cars during the specified period, then in the corresponding period last year 62.5 thousand cars were produced.

Along with this, the production of trucks also increased by 24.6%. If in January-August of this year, almost 6.1 thousand trucks were produced, then in the same period last year, 4.8 thousand trucks were produced.
