South Korean group BTS may perform at Bishkek Arena in autumn 2027, according to producer Islam Satarov.
Speaking on the state television channel ElTR, producer Islam Satarov said that negotiations with representatives of the Backstreet Boys had been completed. He had previously been involved in negotiations to organise a Shakira concert in Bishkek. The Colombian singer is scheduled to perform at the new arena on October, 18 marking her first-ever concert in Kyrgyzstan.
Where is BTS performing now?
The group performed live only rarely for several years while its members completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. In spring 2026, BTS returned to the stage with their Arirang world tour, which kicked off in Goyang, South Korea.
The tour comprises 79 stadium concerts across Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe and Australia. The group has already performed in Las Vegas, New Jersey and Los Angeles, with London, Paris, Sydney and other cities still on the schedule. The tour’s final concert is scheduled to take place in Manila in March 2027.
A circular stage was constructed for the shows, allowing spectators to be seated on all sides. The tour schedule does not include any cities in Central Asia, and BTS have yet to perform anywhere in the region.
How much does a BTS concert cost?
The group does not publicly disclose its performance fee. BTS do not accept private bookings and organise their own tours in partnership with HYBE and Live Nation. As a result, their earnings are generally assessed based on box-office revenue.
Arirang became the first tour by a pop artist to gross more than $500 million. Two concerts alone at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey generated approximately $32.7 million.
According to estimates by Pollstar, each tour performance generates an average of approximately $12.7 million. The group’s technical and hospitality rider is not publicly disclosed by its agency. Ticket prices have ranged from $100 to $400 on average.
Meanwhile, Shakira’s upcoming concert in Bishkek has attracted interest from audiences in Kazakhstan. On the first day of ticket sales, Kazakhstani buyers purchased 18% of all tickets sold.
