Branch of prestigious British university opened in Astana

The new branch of Cardiff University opened in Astana. The event brought together applicants and their parents interested in international education. The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the conditions for admission, the educational process and educational programs, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

The branch became the first official representative of Cardiff University in Central Asia. The university is ranked 186th in the international QS ranking and is part of the prestigious British Russell Group.

"The opening of a branch of Cardiff University Kazakhstan gives the youth of Kazakhstan the opportunity to receive a British quality education without leaving their homeland. This is an important step towards the internationalization of the higher education system of our country." Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek said.
