The unidentified teen from Cairo, Egypt, passed away shortly after his sickness started to cause concerns for his family, El.kz cites thesun.co.uk.
It was first feared that the noodles had been poisoned or could have been tainted before the boy consumed them.
Police even questioned the shopkeeper who sold them to the teen over concerns he didn't adhere to the proper safety standards.
Testing and an autopsy on the boy later confirmed that the products were not laced.
His death is believed to have been a result of acute intestinal problems or digestive obstruction from eating a large quantity of raw noodles.
Uncooked noodles are feared to cause severe dehydration and intestinal blockages if eaten.
