Bilateral meeting held in Seoul between Kazakh Minister of Education and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Korea
The GEIS Global Education and Innovation Summit is taking place in Seoul. Within the framework of the event, a bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Korea Lee Joo-ho, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed topical issues of Kazakh-South Korean bilateral cooperation in the field of education, the possibility of exchanging innovative experience, ongoing and promising projects on the digitalization of education.
"We are glad to see you as our guest. This meeting is another important stage in the cooperation of our countries to implement new initiatives aimed at the development of digital education," said Lee Joo-ho, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of South Korea.
Gani Beisembayev stressed the importance of introducing innovative teaching methods on the way to quality education
"Our state pays special attention to the digitalization of all areas of activity. The Ministry of Education is carrying out step-by-step work on the introduction of digital solutions to ensure affordable, equal and quality education. We are interested in the best practices of South Korea in the use of new technologies in education," said the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that the GEIS Global Education and Innovation Summit will last two days. Within the framework of the event, the participating countries will discuss strategic opportunities and practical ideas for the application of innovations in the field of education.
