Banned items to be disposed of at Kazakh airports
Items prohibited during security checks will no longer be stored in airport lockers, El.kz reports citing Kazakh Ministry of Transport.
All objects that do not comply with aviation security standards will be disposed of. Previously, passengers could leave them in storage till their return.
The Ministry reminded travelers that liquids, aerosols, and gels in containers larger than 100 ml are not allowed in carry-on baggage. These include water and beverages, soups, sauces, pastes and other tube-packed items.
New rule also prohibits transporting unpackaged homemade food products. This includes: honey, jam, dairy goods, and other preserves.
The Ministry emphasized that compliance with these rules enhances flight safety and ensures comfort for all air passengers.
