Azerbaijani military specialists conducted a course on cybersecurity

Lectures and meetings were held at the National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Head of the State Secrets Protection Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Colonel Timur Sadvokassov, met with the delegation led by the head of the Software Department of the Communications Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel Adil Nastakalov.

Taking into account the relevance of information security issues in the context of geopolitical instability, the parties stressed the importance of exchanging experience. Such interaction, in their opinion, will contribute to the high-quality training of specialists in this area.

According to the program of the visit, foreign guests also visited the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Military History Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and got acquainted with other sights of the capital.

The events were organized in accordance with the plan of military cooperation between the defense departments of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan for 2024.
