Congratulating the winners, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted their contribution to the development of national literature and their significant role in a time of change, noting that, on the President’s instruction, the state is carrying out systematic work to support the country’s poets and writers.
In addition, Aida Balayeva focused on the Constitutional Reform, which places special emphasis on preserving historical heritage and supporting national culture.
“Today we are moving to the truly historic stage. Large-scale reforms initiated by the Head of State and based on the principles of justice and unity, the rule of law and order, are becoming a new benchmark for the country’s development. These transformations lay a solid foundation for the comprehensive modernization of society. The constitutional reforms underway in the country defines the future of the state, renews public consciousness, and strengthens responsibility between citizens and the state. Defining society’s spiritual values and uniting the country around shared ideals and goals becomes especially important,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
She added that preserving historical heritage and supporting national culture is a shared responsibility, and for the first time this position has been clearly reflected in the draft Constitution, where culture and spirituality are identified as key pillars of state development.
“The special emphasis in the new Constitution on education and science, culture, and innovative development clearly demonstrates the strategic choice of our state. This choice is aimed at developing human potential - the country’s main capital - unlocking the knowledge and talents of every citizen, and supporting new technologies and creative thought as the driving force of progress. All this once again confirms that Kazakhstan’s long-term development is determined not only by economic indicators, but above all by the formation of a spiritually strong, competitive, and intellectually developed nation. In this responsible mission, the writing community plays a special role, because literature is the mirror of society, the soul of the nation,” Aida Balayeva noted.
