A festive concert honoring International Children's Day was held at the  Amphitheater on the Ishim River embankment  in Astana, El.kz reports

A holiday by the water

The riverside venue became one of the central evening spots for the celebration: families with children, teenagers, and citizens looking to spend the evening outdoors gathered around the stage.

By the start of the program, the Amphitheater was crowded: children ran near the fountain, parents took seats closer to the stage, some filmed the performances on their phones, while others watched the festivities from the embankment.

"We really enjoyed the concert; I came here with my children and all my nephews. Thank you for the festive atmosphere," one of the guest said.

Guests were introduced to international creative groups and festival artists. Clowns in vibrant costumes performed magic tricks and acrobatic stunts, sang songs, and staged pantomimes and short humorous sketches. The program was designed to ensure children were not just spectators but emotionally engaged - laughing, applauding, responding to the artists, and following every act from the front of the stage.

From clown parade to evening concert

The concert at the Amphitheater served as a continuation of the festival program. Earlier, a clown parade took place in the capital, with participants in colorful costumes marching through the city to create a festive mood for children and adults alike.

According to organizers, this year’s International Clown Festival features performers from Kazakhstan, as well as creative groups from Denmark, Italy, France, Argentina, and Russia. The program includes theatrical productions, stage performances, elements of circus art, and interactive numbers.

A celebration for all families

Organizers paid special attention to children with special needs. Dedicated seating was provided at the venue to ensure they could comfortably watch the concert and participate in the celebration alongside everyone else.

Events involving children with special educational needs, festive concerts, games, competitions, and specific activities were held throughout Astana to ensure the holiday was accessible to all families.

The whole city as a festive venue

The city program was divided into six blocks tailored to different ages and interests, with specific events prepared for toddlers, preschoolers, schoolchildren, teenagers, and families.

A Day that brought families together

This event provided a wonderful opportunity to once again emphasize that children are our greatest value and our future.

The concert concluded with loud applause, leaving both young and adult guests with a wave of sincere emotions and warm memories that will long continue to comfort them.
