APK URGES TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED
The Assembly of people of Kazakhstan has developed a calendar of charitable events "Caravan of Mercy" for 2019, prepared on the basis of traditions of the people of Kazakhstan and taking into account the national holidays of the country. This year's actions will be held under a single slogan "Meyirimdilikpen birlikke!
The events were launched within the framework of the republican charitable action of APK "Sarkyt", which is aimed at supporting socially vulnerable groups of the population.
As noted in the Secretariat of the APK, the activity is aimed at stimulating charitable activities and systematization of the activities, which will make it possible to give the charity a targeted, systematic character. In addition, it will bring every citizen of Kazakhstan closer to the culture of the Kazakh people.
The peculiarity of monthly events is that each of them will be dedicated to a certain Kazakh folk custom and have the same name.
The first action "Sarkyt" started in Astana, where the aksakals and elders of the capital ethnocultural associations held national rituals "Besik toi" and "Tusau kesu" for children from "Mother's House". The action was taken up by the regions of the country.
The national culture of the Kazakh people is famous for the richness of customs and traditions, which have been transformed into a great celebration. Thus, the ancient tradition of "Sarkyt" is the treats from the festive table.
In addition, the tradition has a spiritual, moral and educational character - to suppress sacrilegious attitude to food and calls to share it with those in need.
Activists of the republican youth movement of the Assembly "Zhangyru zholy" delivered gift bags, which symbolize "Sarkyt" to families in need of support, representatives of vulnerable group of the population.
The next action, which will take place in February, is called "Sybaga". It will be aimed at helping the elderly, orphans and sick people left without care.
It is planned that similar events in accordance with the calendar of charitable events of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan for 2019 will be held covering all regions of the country on the basis of APK’s Houses of Friendship.
