Annual study "PISA for Schools-2023" started in Kazakhstan. From November 6 to December 15 of this year, the international study "PISA-based Test for Schools (PISA for Schools)" to be held in 1,000 educational organizations of the country, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Education.
Over 54,000 15-year-old students from all regions of the country will take part in PISA for schools, providing valuable data on their educational process and achievements. The study is based on the methodology of the traditional PISA study and assesses key functional literacy skills such as reading, math and science, forming a comprehensive picture of a school's educational achievement.
"PISA is conducted annually and provides an opportunity to receive individual reports with an analysis of the results at the level of each individual school, identifying specific areas where improvement can be made.
Detailed reports enable the school administration to use them to develop strategies and programs to improve the quality of education," said Dinara Abylkanova, Head of the Department of Quality Assurance Policy in the Field of Education of the Ministry of Education.
PISA for schools is conducted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. According to the results of PISA for schools - 2022, 1000 educational organizations received 428 individual and 172 group reports.
