An Exhibition Dedicated to Dimash Held in Astana

On September 12th, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana opened an exhibition titled “Dimash: Conquering the World,” dedicated to the works of People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, Dimash Qudaibergen, El.kz cites dimashnews.com.

Dimash’s parents, Kanat and Svetlana Aitbaeva, and his grandmother, Miua Nizamutdinova, took part in the opening ceremony.

In his welcoming speech, Kanat Aitbaev said:
“We are very happy to have gathered people from various countries here in Astana, which shows that creativity knows no borders. Thanks to the fans, we were able to put together this exhibition.”

Dimash recorded a video message where he greeted and thanked all the guests of the city.

The creative inspiration behind the exhibition was Dimash’s mother, Svetlana Aitbayeva.

Svetlana Ermekovna shared the story of the exhibition’s creation with DimashNews:

“Dimash calls his fans ‘Dears’. At every performance, at every concert, his fans have given Dimash many gifts, souvenirs, books, and letters. These are all very precious to our family, to Dimash, and to me personally. Little by little, I began to collect everything, from small letters to concert costumes handmade for Dimash.

This year, the Ministry of Culture and Information and the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan supported my idea. In just a few weeks, we prepared this temporary exhibition.

A special part of the exhibit is dedicated to musical instruments. Dimash’s collection now includes around 35 different instruments from various countries, crafted by true masters. It’s well known that an instrument thrives when it’s played, seen, and learned about, so we decided to create this small museum. It is especially appreciated by professional musicians.”
