Ambassador of Kazakhstan meets with Deputy FM of China
Ambassador of Kazakhstan Shahrat Nuryshev met with Deputy Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China Ma Zhaoxu, El.kz cites Kazakh MFA.
During the meeting, topical issues of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation in various fields, as well as interaction of the parties within the framework of multilateral structures were considered.
Particular attention during the conversation was paid to the schedule of upcoming bilateral events at the high and highest levels, as well as preparations for the CICA summit, which will be held in Nur-Sultan in October this year.
Sh. Nuryshev proposed to the Chinese side to intensify the coordination of draft bilateral documents under consideration by the state bodies of Kazakhstan and china in order to improve the legal framework and give an additional "impetus" to Kazakh-Chinese relations.
For his part, Ma Zhaoxu noted the importance of the issues raised and expressed the readiness of the Chinese side to actively cooperate on them.
He also said that the Chinese Foreign Ministry is ready for close cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China in order to successfully organize the events planned this year.
The parties agreed to continue the practical implementation of agreements on full-time training of Kazakhstani students in Chinese universities, the introduction of a visa-free regime for mutual trips of citizens of the two countries and the restoration of regular flights between Nur-Sultan and Beijing.
At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda.
