Ambassador of Kazakhstan Met with Kazakh Cadets Studying in Yerevan
Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbaev visited the Yerevan State Medical University named after M. Heratsi (YSMU) in order to familiarize himself with the study conditions of Kazakh cadets studying at the military medical faculty of this educational institution, El.kz cites MFA.
During the conversation with the leadership of the university, the Armenian side was familiarized in detail with the political and socio-economic reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan. It was noted that Astana attaches great importance to deepening comprehensive relations with Yerevan, including the training of Kazakh personnel in the military medical field on the basis of the leading University of Armenia.
Rector of Yerevan State Medical University Armen Muradyan spoke about the activities of YSMU, where over 2 thousand foreign students from 30 countries are currently studying. According to Armen Muradyan, Kazakh military personnel studying at the university demonstrate high academic performance and physical fitness. During the meeting, issues of developing bilateral cooperation in the scientific and academic sphere and sharing experience in this area were also discussed.
After familiarization with the conditions and the training process, a conversation took place with Kazakh cadets. In the congratulations on the occasion of the upcoming Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it was noted that the Government of the country pays special attention to the training of personnel and the development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including high-quality military medical education.
