Ambassador of Kazakhstan Met with Director of the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Toumatov met with the Director of the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy – Ambassador of the Jordanian Foreign Ministry Haifa Al-Khraisha, who participated in the 21st round of Syrian settlement in the Astana format on January 24-25, 2024, El.kz cites MFA.

Director of the Jordanian Institute of Diplomacy noted that the Syrian talks in Astana were held at a high level and emphasized that Kazakhstan is doing a great job to resolve the Syrian crisis.

The parties discussed the current issues and prospects of bilateral relations and noted the positive dynamics across the entire spectrum of cooperation. At the same time, the Kazakh diplomat acquainted the Director of the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy with the ongoing reforms in Kazakhstan. Moreover, preparations for the next meeting of the Kazakh-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural, and Humanitarian Cooperation were discussed.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to to continue to make efforts to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
