Ambassador of Kazakhstan meets with Speaker of Parliament of North Macedonia
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov held a meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of North Macedonia Afrim Gashi, El.kz cites MFA.
During the conversation, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, mutual interest was expressed in further strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties.
Both sides expressed confidence that active interaction and contacts between members of parliaments of the two countries will contribute to further deepening and expansion of intergovernmental and interregional cooperation.
The Ambassador briefed Gashi about political and economic reforms in our country which are consistently carried out under the leadership of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Chairman of the Parliament expressed deep interest in the practical activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the initiative on convening regularly in Astana Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. In this regard, he highly appreciated the verified and creative interethnic and interfaith policy carried out in the republic, and also expressed readiness to assist in organizing business forum and the simplification of the visa regime between the two countries.
On a final note, Afrim Gashi requested to convey congratulations and best wishes to President Tokayev, his fellow members of parliament and to the entire people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the 33rd Anniversary of the Independence Day of our country.
