Amazon Kuiper: New step in Kazakhstan's satellite communications industry
In order to strengthen cooperation in the field of space technologies and satellite communications in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and Amazon Kuiper signed a Memorandum of Understanding, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.
The signing of this document opens up new prospects for the introduction of innovations in the satellite communications industry in the country.
The memorandum is aimed at joint cooperation on the deployment of Amazon Kuiper satellite communication services in low Earth orbit throughout Kazakhstan. The collaboration with Amazon Kuiper lays the foundation for high-speed internet access anywhere in the country through high-bandwidth, low-latency satellite communications.
"The signing of the memorandum is an important step towards modernizing the satellite communications industry in Kazakhstan. Cooperation with Amazon Kuiper will allow us to introduce modern satellite technologies, which, in turn, will contribute to the digitalization of the economy and improve the quality of life of the population”, Minister of Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhaslan Madiyev emphasized.
"We are pleased to cooperate with the Ministry and are confident that our joint efforts will benefit customers in Kazakhstan. This will expand the possibilities of using satellite communications in low Earth orbit to solve modern problems”, Jeff Kietzman, a representative of Amazon Kuiper said.
