About 200 thousand applications for IIN have been received from foreigners since September 21, El.kz reports with reference to the Sputnik.kz

This was announced on the sidelines of the Majilis by Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Asset Turysov.

"Since September 21, about 200,000 applications. This is generally from all foreigners," he said.

Turysov also recalled that any foreign citizen who wants to do business in Kazakhstan, or work, open a bank account, is obliged to obtain an IIN of a non-resident.
