Almaty to host open robotics and drone championship
On December 11-12 this year, the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty will host the 9th Open Robotics and Drone Championship Tech Cup Almaty. Over 2,500 schoolchildren and students aged 6 to 22 from various regions of Kazakhstan, including participants from rural schools, will take part in the event, El.kz reports.
The championship will provide a unique opportunity for young talents not only to demonstrate their skills in controlling robots and drones, but also to present their innovative projects to the public on the topic "Scientific Innovations in Art".
As part of the event, a variety of events will be held, including master classes, seminars from speakers from leading IT companies and well-known universities in Kazakhstan, as well as an alley of startup entrepreneurs organized among schoolchildren. In addition, the world-famous Hour of Code will be held in the championship pavilion.
The winners of the championship will receive valuable awards, including licenses to participate in international championships in India, Indonesia and Turkey, cash prizes of up to 10 million tenge, as well as grants to universities.
