Almaty to host international school competition in mathematics and mechanics
From March 1 to March 3, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the XIII International Competition of Research Projects in Mathematics and Mechanics named after U. Dzholdasbekov will be held in Almaty, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
150 talented students from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will compete for the title of the strongest. The competition will be held on the basis of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU in Almaty.
Participants will defend research projects in the following areas: "Mathematics", "Applied Mathematics", "Mechanics" and "Mathematical Methods in Economics".
The Ministry reports that the contest will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn".
